What makes my vocal training different from other vocal coaches?
I am a vocal technician that uses practical and spiritual applications to help achieve effective vocal skills.

I focus on helping you apply proper breathing skills that creates more air to carry notes that will produce quality tone and pitch. Vocal Maintenance - You must learn how to physically and mentally care for your voice. Vocal Science Tips - I will help you gain a clear understanding of where your voice comes from. ![]() Vocal Projection with Vocal Control - These are very important tools to enhance your vocal performance. If your projection is poor and/or out of control it will hinder your over-all performance. Studio Tips and Stage Projection - These are techniques that are very important to utilize in developing your vocal style and image. Song Interpretation with Passion - This is very important. You need a clear understanding of what you are singing so you can use your voice to tell the story with passion and thereby touch the hearts of others. Song Selection that Fits your Vocal Style - I am very effective at helping you choose songs to fit your vocal style. This will produce positive feedback from others. Note Recognition by Sight and Sound (Basic Music Theory) - This includes note recognition when practicing scales, cords and harmonizing. The ability to identify your vocal placement when reading sheet music is a must. Harmonizing and How to Perform with Self-confidence - When singing notes with other voices with confidence this will lend to a better blend in your tone and pitch. Know where your voice lends itself to the best support in group singing. This will help you to embrace and appreciate your vocal gift; which in turn will help build self-confidence in your over-all vocal projection. Our goal is to move away from being competitive where your focus is on others rather than your own ability. This process involves learning how to not be critical of your vocals while developing your areas needing improvement. Daily training and practice with others will strengthen your self-confidence. Coupled here is the importance for you to accept honest critique of both your vocals and performances. My goal is to help you to develop strong harmonizing skill, be approachable and likable. This is a winning combination that encourages acceptance from others of who you are. Building Your Self-esteem - I work from the inside out by providing an honest evaluation of your potential. Then I add healthy doses of encouragement coupled with hands on application with the goal of helping you to please your listening audience. Investing Time and Interest - I take as much time as you need to meet your individual vocal needs. Creating a Fun Loving Atmosphere - This helps to bring out your freedom of expression. This results in a more comfortable environment where you can be creative and feel free to take risks while vocalizing.
Awyken Life Coaching Graduation
This is a very proud moment for me and my husband Mo, our graduation from "Awyken Life Coaching" which had enhanced my ability to help my vocal students to become the best that they can be inside and out. What good can an artist contribute to others without a solid character profile. So I enjoy training and coaching voices to be heard and received!
